I got this cam as part of a parts trade, but don't know anything about it, other than an Erson regrind. Can anyone decipher these numbers?

I guess I could put a degree wheel and indicator on it to find the lift and duration, but how do I tell if it's solid or hydraulic? What is the difference in lobe separation for 392 vs 331/354? It has the later style sprocket drive.

You will need to see an Earson cat to get the actuall numbers on this cam.. Lift, Duration, Lobe centers, ETC..

But i do know that a HiFlow 1 H is a Hydraulic cam due to the H at the end & the HiFlow Series are High Lift cams that need Big Stall or Manual transmissions.

All factory 392 cams have a small dimple on the extreme front of the cam, on the small machined surface just outside of the bolt hole.

Thanks for the info guys. After some searching, it looks like all the HiFlow1H cams have the same grind, regardless of engine make.

    296°, .472 lift, 108° lobe centers, 2700-5700 rpm range
