Thanks James! I still have a copy of that picture you 'shopped for me. I'm going a slightly different direction with the truck, but your pic gave me some inspiration. Tonight I started working on a transmission crossmember and mount. Once I get the frame boxed I can trim it down a bit for installation. For now it temporarily sits on the lower lip of the frame rail.
Just another quick update. I bought some lakes headers online and they arrived today. I quickly bolted them up to see how things look and they should work just fine. I have to adjust the p***. side up a bit, they angle down a bit more than the dr. side and will interfere with the splash apron. You can also see the start of the trans mount in these pics. It's coming along slowly!
