Projects EUREKA ~ I FOUND THAT MISSING HEATER!

I posted a thread about loosing parts and realized rather quickly I'm not alone,I have searched several times in the past few weeks and come up empty handed.

So I have been looking for the new heater I purchased for the sedan a couple of years ago and misplaced it,I went out to the garage determined to find it... TODAY!

I called myself looking high and low,I have moved darn near everything in the garage at least twice looking for that darn brown cardboard box and then I looked up at the luggage Brenda bought at a yard sale and after moving the round piece of luggage there sat the box behind it,obviously when I was looking high and low I didn't look high enough. HRP

 

And now you forgot what you needed it for!

 

Do you remember what car you were going to put it in?

hey, that's no fair - you found what you were looking for - I usually get side tracked finding stuff that I did not even know that I had - likely because I put it where I "would not never forget where it was"

 

No,I'm not accusing her of hiding the box,I must have put the box on top of the cabinet I just don't remember doing it,although she did stack the bags on top of the steel cabinet when I was laid up. HRP

 

H.R.P. Same thing happened to me after I painted the 56 buick wagon.I couldn't find the lettering that went on the hood.Tore the garage apart and couldn't find them. I thought I was going to have to buy some. Teresa came down to the shop and said is that them up on the shelve above your head? It was so when in doubt look up. LOL. Bruce.

 

I see ,,, She hid it on you when you weren't watching and couldn't help yourself.

 

That Sucks... but at least you found it before summer, now where did you put that a/c unit???

 

No AC in the sedan,I can still tolerate the heat but as I have piled on the years I have gotten cold natured. HRP

 

Same here. What other treasures were found while looking for the heater?

 

I lost my Mind awhile back and have never found it!

Due to the accident and long drawn out physical therapy I have done very little in the way of working in the shop since last February,just small projects that don't involve picking up anything weighing more than 20 lbs.

I have done a lot of cleaning up,throwing out and broom pushing. HRP

I've never had any problems with forgetfulness, at least not that I can recall.

 

i just put shit someplace so I remember where it is, then look at it 100 times when I am looking for it. Ive learned to walk away and it will be visible soon enough!

 

Purchased 4 bungies and 2 tarps for a gift for my son. Took them in the garage to remove the price tags. Lost 2 bungies before I could get them out of the garage. A week later and I still can't find them.

 

I could....but I won't.....Happy New Found/Lost parts to ya in 2017 !

I was looking for "something" in the garage, way back when, wife was helping.
Small item, whatever it was, wife looked in the glovebox, found panty hose !
Heck, just had to tell her they were mine (just like JoeNameth) but damn, they sure get hot in summer months.

 

Portent? Not sure we have those in Texas.

 

At least it wasn't a thong or Ben Wa Balls! HRP
