History European Column Shifters

Are they on the right or left of the column?

 

Depends on country

If car is a Left ****** like the US (I.e mainland Europe) - they are the same side as the US
If its a UK right hand drive the Column shifter is on the left side of the column

 

Both of my Vauxhalls (LHD) are in the same spot as an American car.

 

I've never seen one that has a shifter on the left side,but i've never seen an UK car with column shifter..

 

Column shift is allways to the centre of the car, that,s so that you can allways hang your elbow uninterupted out the window and look cool.
