My dad found some pics of the car he built when he was young. Like 50 years ago or so... My grandfather helped quite a bit since he was some kind of welding genius (with an oxyacetylene torch). What I heard from stories is that they started with a Simca Vite car, hacked the roof off and used that as a trunkcover. They had to do a lot of metalwork to get the wrinkles out the side where trunk meets fender. Looking at these pics I think they also moved the cowl a bit towards the rear. But then, I also remember there was some use of Jaguar parts. Anyway, a drunk driver smashed the car when my dad drove it. Here's the pics my dad came up with.
