Evans Speed Equipment since 1946

Discussion in 'New to the H.A.M.B.? Introduce yourself here!' started by EvansSpeedEquipment, Oct 17, 2008.

  1. Hello hot rod community,

I'm really excited to see the interest in Earl " Pappy " Evans, founder of Evans Speed Equipment. Evans Speed Equipment is still in business today as a specialty high performance machine shop. The shop is in daily operation where Earl once lived and manufactured his Flathead parts when he moved there in 1952. There are big plans for Evans Speed Equipment in the future. The flathead patterns are NOT destroyed, they are in fair condition. Feel free to ask any questions. Thank you for your interest.

fat40ford, you have one post. Everyone's first post is supposed to be an introduction. What you've done is post into someone else's introduction from over 4 years ago.
    That's not so cool.
How about you read Ryan's sticky note at the top of the Intros page and have another go?
We all understand that not everyone is Bill Gates and knows everything there is to know about computers, etc, but you really should try again.
    Cheers.

In the "sticky note" referenced above Ryan says, verbatim, "6. New users must introduce themselves in the intro forum." RYAN does NOT say what KIND of information or how MUCH information one is to include in the INTRO forum.

He asks people to fill out their PROFILE (which would be on one's profile page rather than the intro forum) with as much information as possible, but no where does he specify that a lengthy, information-filled introduction is required.
