Evapo Rust is a good product. I brought a set of chromed ralley wheels back from the dead with it. Didn't take much either. I'm gonna try some of those crystals though. I'm a cheap (poor)******** and like to hot rod my mix by making it stronger.
Actually the salt is what "resets" the resins (re-ionization). Tan X is used to remove corrosion from the valves that mix and release the salt water. Still haven't got around to seeing what happens with that chrome. Maybe later today I'll try it... I just swapped out some headlight rings and my old ones were so badly corroded they were turning white...
