A buddy of mine who passed a couple weeks ago may just have the coolest urn I've seen. Dean Billings was his name and his business was Quick Change Specialists in Milwaukee. Dean was a midget and sprint driver, had a life altering crash 25 years ago and was never able to race again. He did many race and street quick change rears back in the day. RIP Dean, may you win all the features and the beer be ice cold.
Was at Angell Park in Sun Prairie last Sunday night for the midget and sprint races when they announced his passing and did ad tribute. My he RIP
My brother in law, Todd Faller (not sure if you remember him) was crew chiefing for him the night he flipped and was hit in the cage. He was there for the funeral as well. I only met Dean once. R.I.P. Dean.
I more than likely met him more than once back in the day. I was better friends with his brother Dick and was at Dick and Pam's house when they got the call about Dean that night. We were at the Milwaukee Mile earlier than day for the Nascar Busch race there. A sad day for sure.
I believe I can at least equal your urn. A very well known street/hotrodder recently passed in San Antonio. He was so talented in all facets concerning building super rods. He is safely ensconced in a polished "beehive" oil filter. What a fitting location to eternally rest !
