Made the trip to Jacksonville in my 29 Sedan. The car made this trip trouble free. Ran into some HAMBers, Old Kid, Greg Peliter (sp?) and KustomRiv.. Had a great time talking with each of them. There were a few Hot Rod and Kustoms in attenance but the largest group were the Muscle Cars. It was a nice mix of rides to cover everyones tastes.

    Here the link

    Excellant ... as usual ...

I appreciate the time and effort you put forth to have event coverage at the shows. THANK YOU ...

And I see that your hanging around with Boro and Dave has improved your TASTE and interest in what you take photos of ... ( more 32's :D ... )

hey boones the sedan looked great , didn't realize it was yours until i got back and saw the post. The show looked to have only about half of the cars as last year and most of the guys with the hotrods that are usually there didn't make it this year.

Boone's it was good to meet you and customriv at the show.Your sedan looked great. The 32 with nice armrest belong's to Red Stoufer he is a former sprint car driver and lives in florida at least part time. That car is about as perfect as they come.I was told by goodguy's that my car won best traditional hot rod but since I told them I wouldnt be there Sunday they gave it to someone else.Oh well what the ****.Once again it was nice meeting you and thank's for the pics.GREGG

The bronze car was a roadster - edited my above post. I would love to get together with some of you FL guys on one of these trips. A lot of you must know me, I built the headers and the firewall for that black tudor with the hemi & moon caps, built about 80 Deuce ch***is' for Bob Hoppel of Bros. Little Car Co.(aka Daytona Roadsters).

Anyone know Tommy McMullen in Daytona? I ran into him today at the show...Bob Carter? George Wonderlick?

    boones,
it was good to see you again. when do you work?
i gave a rodders rep pick to that fine black 40 with the carson top.
that was one of the last original carson tops.

    tim,
good to hear from you. i wish i could have seen you at the show.
you did a great job on the headers and firewall.
see you guys on the road,
    dan

That 40 was a great ride, just wish he would have kept the hood shut. Dont these folks realize that a basic flattie with a single carb is nothing to look at (especially the one in that car). it would have look so much more elegant with the hood down..

  13. Thanks Boones. You take some of the best pics of anybody I know.

roadstar, thanks for the compliment. It means alot to hear folks enjoy the shots. THou I take most for myself, I do think about what others might like to see (especially some of the detail shots).

Old Kid, you gonna try those halibrand smoothies on your ride??? you better

I rode the scooter up to check it out Sunday - kinda smaller than what I was thinking it would be. Saturday must have been the day to go. That 32 in deuce roadsters post had the farthest distance nomination in the window, had M*** plates on it. And there was 57 Ford stock-car with the Paxton had the traditional nomination. Most of what I saw was muscle cars with high dollar for sale signs on them.

    Great pics Boones as usual.
