Just retuned from Knoxville and attending the NSRA event there. The weather was great and got a chance to see a few HAMBers (ratster, Deuceroadster, hotrodprimer, pinstriper & his son, Count S****ula...etc) and the Greasy Hubcaps group. Hi..... I took a few shots for everyone (see link below). I think most are pleasing to the eye but I did take a few to make you ask WTF for fun....... a few swap shots (there was tin forsale there) also. Here is a preview, Enjoy Event Coverage - pics
Thanks for the fix, always enjoyed that event, southern hospitality. Work always gets in the way, and not all what it's cracked up to be.
Great event coverage as always Boones. Thanks for sharing and I appreciate all the work it takes to film all that, no matter how much fun it is. Joel
I guess I was looking for all the good deals and missed you. Did you get a pic of all the trucks that were together on the hill?
Great pics. I was selling in the swap meet and had a chance to talk to Pinstriper and his son but didn't see anyone else. First time I have been to the show and the best swap meet I think I've ever done in terms of sales. Charlie
Hey Boones thanks for postin gthe pics and the link. I saw allot of old cars coming thru Greenville SC and then found out about the show.
Thanks for the pictures.... Some people really have no eye for proportions and stance, do they? At least they got the bigger tires on the right end.... Brian
But, compared to this...maybe they do! The kit called for dual v/6's, but they decided to subs***ute a v/8 instead.... Damn... I really have no right to critique any of the above, though...at least they had a running rod and were there....unlike me....but some things are just WRONG.
Wish I would have known as I would have stopped and said hi.. Which booth was yours...??? I see some of the WTF have been found. the short truck frame could have been cool if it was longer. (I included a pic of the engine and front suspension) it was way to short. As for the truck on the hill, ya I got pic of them in my coverage..
The coupe in the first pic belongs to a dude from the Cinci area. His name is Brock. He is a super nice kid(I say kid because he hangs with my kid and is about the same age). Great coverage Boons, Thanks.
Brock's coupe had to have been the coolest car there. It didn't hurt at all that he and his father were both super nice people too. I saw Boones, Ratster, Wild32hotrod, Charlie Chops, Count S****ula, Capt. Zorro, and a bunch of old friends. It really was a good time with great weather. Thanks for the pics Boones. JH
Thanks for the pics guys, This year is the first I have missed since my C-dan was built. Brocks 28 years old and an Original BSM soldier. I'll p*** your complements about his car on to him. Sorry to miss you guys (Greasy Hubcaps) I'm painting another 40' cigarette boat... Its killer, I send ya pics. Thanks again, Joshua Shaw www.blackshirtmafia.com
GREAT pics Boones. Thanks for sharing. Been wanting to hit the Knoxville show for years. For sure it's going on the not to be missed list for next year.
