  5. I was in Bldg 1, spaces 86/87 (the large building that was split up the middle) I was adjacent to the road, 2nd row going up the hill. Yeah, I saw Harriason, too.

Didn't happen to see the strange cars shown above. Guess I'm glad. I know that there are a lot of folks out there with bad eyesight...I just don't need a lot of reminders.

It was good seeing you guys again. I met so many HAMB'ers, I think every one a HAMB'er now.

    Brocks car kicks ***!

That roadster with the blue frame and Hemi in it, was built by some kids that go too a High School that, not in a very good neighborhood, so maybe it help keep some kids off crack for a few months.

The long looking T"s were built by some guy that goes by "Bad Bud", he claims to have built the coffin car that was on the Munster's show, also says he worked for Barris back in the old days.

Josh, show us the boat, i heard about it.

Brocks ride was my favorite.. From the moment I first saw it roll in. I took alot of shots just hoping it would show just how cool i was. It is so much better in person. I am not sure what it is, but the big and littles (in big diameters) and so smooth was plain *****in... I noticed the BSM sticker in the rear window, I never got a chance to talk with the owner to ask any questions..

My favorite finished car was the red Model A coupe. Had the best stance and looked even better rolling down the street. I heard the guy had over 100k into it,. It looked like it, may have been the nicest A coupe I have ever seen (including the big dollar indoor shows)..

Anybody see the '38 covert in the swap area? It was from Florida. I didn't see the seller when I was there. I'm wondering what the story was with it.

The guy's are correct, it was a good show this year. The weather was the best we've had in years. Thursday was a little sloppy getting signed in but the rest of the weekend was great.
Got to talk to Count S****ula and Harrison a little, ran into a couple of my old buddys that have retired from the Fire Dept also. I even got Mrs. Zorro and Son to accompany me Saturday. It's getting hard to get Son into the back seat of the Anglia now that he's 20yrs. old. He fit a lot better when he was 5. Told him next trip I will get him a football...Wanted to speak to some of the guys from the Greazy Hubcaps, but everytime I went by they were covered up spreading the gospil..
Thanks for taking some pics of my old Anglia, guess it doesn't look to bad after about 15yrs. on the road. I'm going to have to repaint it tho. I put some coating on the bottom of the rear fenders and rocker panels that was supposed to keep it from rock chipping. Was guranteed not to discolor the paint. Well it did and when I went to look for the company it had gone out of business. GOTCHA.. think I still have an old waterpump that had a lifetime warranty from Nationwise Auto Pts.

That truck in the first pics looks like a fellow from the town my brother lives in, Owatonna MN. Fellow's name is Brekke. If its not, it looks just like his.

Capt, which one was yours. I was walking around with a friend named Larry (from NC) that has several Anglias (loves to collect the parts). He seemed to know every Anglia at the show...

Boones,,,,excellent coverage as always,,,good to see you again.

I did talk to the guy in the black primered model A coupe and the wheels on the back are 18" and the fronts are 16".

I saw ratster and Deuce Roadster and also met cabriolethiboy and wild32hotrod this year,,,,,,

Maybe we need to set a time and place next year to get together for a Hamb meet,,,,,I'm sure I walked past a Hamber or two and didn't know it!

The Lokar open house was great ,,,although a little wet the Lokar folks provided people with free umbrellas to keep the rain at bay while standing in the rain awaiting the food to be prepared.

The food was great and the makeshift movie screen with Hot Rod and The California Kid being shown was cool.

Hope to see more Hambers in Knoxville next year,,,HRP

Zorro, I really liked your Anglia. It was my favorite of the bunch. The wheel combo works great. Do not change the stance or wheels if you freshen it up. It was nice to see a non-pro street version. I would imaging you have mini-tubs for those...

Hotrod, ya next year we will have to call for a HAMB gathering..

    Boones,
Thanks. No tubs, I got the fenders from a guy in Chattanooga that had made a mold of a widened fender that fit the wheel tire combo perfect.
We've had a lot of fun with it over the years, drove it to Columbus two or three times and to Louisville about five or six I guess. Mrs. Zorro's favorite show was the Helen Ga. show up in the mountains. We drove up there every year until year before last when it came the Monsoon. Almost hit a deer twice traveling up there. My Son is 20 now so we don't take any long trips in it anymore. I've got a fat fendered '47 Ford I'm working on now. If I can ever get the dist. gear roll pin to quit shearing off and tearing up the camshaft on the 460 it should be on the road for the long trips.
