When I was 13 I found a 32 Ford 5 window (327 , 4 speed) and asked the guy if it was for sale , he said no but give me your phone number and if I ever change my mind I'll call you . A few years later (I was 15) I bought a 47 Chevy coupe ( my first car) and then a 57 Chevy 4 door run them around till i was 21 and then the phone call came , Do you want the coupe ? I said sure but I have to sell my cars to get the money he said okay . I sold both cars and called the guy and he sold it that morning , nothing like losing all 3 cars within 2 weeks . I ended up buying a 69 mach 1 which I still have.

Women *** and Go, end of that story!!! Cars bring us a lot of enjoyment along with life long friends that have our same p***ion. I just bought a '31 A coupe. Did I need it? NO!!! But I need to finish at least one of these other cars that I bought 5-10 years ago. No fire sale yet!!! lol

  3. Sold the stake bed for my '29AA because I was really broke and needed the money 35 years ago. Regret it now, but not at the time. Also, regret selling my first car, a '29 coupe. Owed my parents, who insisted I sell the car. Should have kept it. Would have hotrodded it.

The cars I've sold, I wanted them gone, can't think of any of them I'd want back.
I'm in a selling mood, been ebaying off topic stuff lately and happy to see it go, I've been dragging this **** around for years.
Maybe I'll scrounge enough for some parts for the 2 projects I have.

Sold my race quad dirt cheap to buy a street bike. I and the bike owner had a deal, he would hold the bike a week and let me get funds. I got the funds and called to arrange a pickup. He sold it out from under me. I was out a quad, but a few months later a local sale popped up, same bike, better shape so I got it instead.

The first thing that comes to my mind is selling the Rochester FI from a 57 Chevy for $100 many years ago. I have wished I hadn't done that many many times since then. :(
