Ever install an anti-chatter bar?

I just put a NOS anti-chatter bar setup in a 1950 shoe box ford with an 8BA. Its supposed to take out the clutch chatter. I don't notice a huge difference with it installed. Should I tighten it up a lot more? Do these things even work?

 

I tried to but she wouldnt be in it, just couldnt shut her up!

 

Flywheel or even more likely a nice new pressure plate sold with arms adjusted unevenly.
