Ever seen a hotrod made of Leather??

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Norrland, Apr 21, 2007.

  1. Great, now we're gonna have"steel vs fiberglass vs leather" drama!!! Amazing workmanship, not everybody's idea of a hot rod,but i like that better than many "death machine ratrods".Anyone remember the 32 roadster from Oregon made of Myrtlewood?

except for the skulls... and those embossed flames that make it look like mini truck door panels...

i like it. pretty original idea, i think. those laced seams are pretty rad.

He sure would! I've just pinched a couple of those pics to post on his website! (I'm a member there)

    Cheers, Glen.

That "New Car Smell" inside and out! Here's a thought, would you still need a fender cover to work under the hood?

Imagine all of the poor cows that had to die just so he could be different. (As I am eating a hamburger)

I think the interior is three coats of lacquer on steel.

I remember the Comanche too. It came to our town for a small local car show(indoor) in the early 60's. I think it was from Michigan. Wonder what ever happened to it? I was about 14 at the time. The X-Sonic was there too.

    Ha! That's funny.

Cool car though. Could do without the death theme. But wicked original.

Does anyone else see a skull in the quickchange? I must be seeing things. I love the coachwork. Except the skulls in the wheels, I don't mind all the skulls - it's a fun theme for a show car since it's obviously not going to be on the road.
