Made in Detroit Michigan by Don Sullivan and Andy Hotton. They operated a small speed shop in Detroit for a short period of time. Don Sullivan was one of the three engineers that worked for Henry Ford back in the early 1930's, who did the engineering work on developing the Ford flathead engine. The Ford flathead made it's debut in March 31 1932. Don Sullivan also made the Hexagon Tool Ford flathead intake manifold and many of those intake manifolds were also sold at their speed shop. The Hotton Sullivan patterns for the flathead heads have either been acquired or developed by the pattern company in Australia and these heads are being reproduced. The reproduction Hotton Sullivan heads will be available soon if not available at the present time. The heads pictured here look to have some age on them so I would think these heads would be originals.
