Hell yeah, that looks like the kind of stuff I build cars out of! :D The best pair of slip-joint pliers I own I dug out of the ground over 30 years ago, out behind the garage where I worked at the time. I have no idea what kind they are but as I said, they're the best ones I have. I still use them every day at work. I'd be heart-broken if I ever lost them.

There was a thread somewhere about some guys in Europe found a hemi buring in the ground. I think the only thing sticking up was corner of an olipan. I recall they dug it out and even managed rebuild it and save the thing.

HURST will rebuild a shifter for $100. I've had a couple done, and they come back PERFECT.

Competition Plus shifter is always good to have.

I was at Pick-A-Part awhile back, and noticed what was used to support a wrecked Crown Vic, was a 16" Kelsey Hayes wire wheel for a Ford, welded to another steel wheel. A little while later I saw the same thing, but with one of those 16" Chevy 'artillary' wheels used on the old bombs.

The bulldozer's final pass probably left the complete right half of a '69 Chevelle there... keep digging! Neat cutaway display car!
