everything is hooked up, but it wont turn over!! whats wrong!?

    nice little summary there JD. and my dad went over to my grandmas today to change the firing order, but he forgot the 58 ford manual my uncle brought over this morning to our house... cant believe he did that. so he didnt get it running today, and he had a doctors appointment at 10:00am so he couldnt really do much to it.
    so tomorrow he'll try getting it fired up. i think im gonna need to buy a generator for it though, because i have an alternator, but we have no way of installing it, we dont have a bracket or anything. plus i still need to get a gear shifter for the fordomatic ****** i got

    Hurst indy-matic is a good call, or if you're looking to save a few bucks, the generic Mr. Gasket floor shifters you can buy at Pep Boys are also perfectly suited for what you need. $35 and an easy install

    Whoa boy! You are talking about a shifter for your "fordomatic ******". Well that is an automatic, why do you have a clutch pedal, u sure you don't have 3 on the tree manual trans?:eek:
     
  4. Oh **** here we go. 7 pages and 123 post just to get the solenoid hooked up correctly. We still have the firing order and now a shifter.Where did i put my gl***es????>>>>.
