A buddy claimed two Michilen spares have blown in his trunk over the years,didn't say if new or used.

dude, that is ****ing crazy!

closest thing i've ever seen to that was a friend who nearly lost his face popping the bead on a go-kart tyre. the bead wouldn't seat and he kept adding pressure... when it finally popped, it took the side of the rim clean off and barely missed his face!

but just sitting there!? ****!

perhaps all us guys with project cars should leave 'em with 10-15 PSI in them... it'd NEVER do that much damage with that low pressure. sorry you had to learn the lesson for us!
