For anyone who cares here it goes.

For those who might not know my name is Dan L. Brumbaugh IV, residn out of San Luis Obispo, Ca. Figure I might share a little piece of the good life.

    1956 Chevy BelAir 2dr Hrdtps:

Little history on the Gasser. Originaly "Lucky 7s" circle track car out of Chico, Ca. in the 60s. I acquired it from a man who bought it for the front clip. First thing I did was torch off the front crossmember. No turning back now. Has backyard stick welded cage. Roof was cut off for install. Raped my 62 Nova gasser for the chevy front-end. 31 spline 9 in the rear. Will let the pics speak the rest. But now here is the question. Muncie 4spd is a definate. Big Block Chevy(396,427,454) Small Block Chevy (327 Fuelie) Olds 394? hmmmmmm.... I need a blower! Did I mention the motor is to be set back atleast a foot. Bench seat and lap belts B-)

The nicer of the twins doesnt have a colorfull past. Yet has a very colorful future. Will be a big cube small block with McGurk 6x2 w/ Strombergs Still lookn for my ignition. Needn a dual point or mag with mech tach drive. SW 8krpm tach. 12v Generator with original power stearin. A real muncie rock crusher. Olds rear with 3:20 open & a 5:25 spooled dropout in the trunk. "Gimme 30 min, then we race." 15xalot Ansens out back. Narrow 14s up front. 5 inches of drop on the front. 3 suspension in the rear plus 2-3 inches of channel. Low but not so slow. Has seamless frame. Deluxe bumpers/stearing wheel. Lookn to be rootbeer brown. Full Diamond Button Tuck Interior. Padded Dash.

Does the name Bob Thurman ring a bell to anyone in the Portland Oregon area? Had a rootbeer brown sbc 6x2 55 Chevy in the day. Heared many a stories bout that one. If anyone has any info or pics regarding let me know.

    There ya have it.

  2. Blown SBC in the gasser would be my choice!

  3. I see that you are a multiple-project person also. The good thing about having two projects going at the same time, is that when you get burnt out on one, just move on over to the other one. You do have some cool Chevy parts. Good luck with them both!
