Saw her yesterday, how about some pix of that front end work or the exhaust? (frame is soon to see powder)
okay okay... here are some pix the next step is to take it apart, send the frame and some parts off for coating and finish the floor and start the body work.. fun brake lines, shock mounts, panhard, done. exhaust..
Dig it... The reveal at the tail end sure is unique...in a good way! Very cool coupe in a world of Model A's BRT
i have a nice original grill for that car..its been indoors for 50 years until i got it 4 years ago and its been sitting in the back of a ford explorer that i never drive since then..if you need one i may be willing to part with it
Well its time to take it apart for the last time and detail the frame and motor she should look alot better in a few weeks.
levi, thats looking real good!and thanks for the steering arms, they worked out just fine.filthy frank.
Nice update, That thing keeps looking better and better. Great work. Cant wait to see it all together.
I think the problem some people may have with the sbc in this case is because this is such a different rod, so unique, that the sbc seems kinda "normal" I am not sure what would go well with a Durant hot rod??? maybe a '50 Hudson Hornet flat head six? or a supercharged Studie?? The car looks great Levi, leave the sbc in it for now, maybe down the road something will catch your eye. At least it is a "traditional" sbc, not just another 350/350 crate deal, I have seen some mighty cool 265, 283, 327's going way back... good job.
I just don't think you can beat a 283, I love those old motors. Only small block I love more is the 327. Looking good man.
