Arguably the coolest looking tires out there, the Excelsior Comp V tires have always been out of my price range. Well, I was just scanning www.cokertire.com to settle for Firestones for The Legion Special and I happened to see them on sale at like HALF PRICE!!!!!!!!

If you ever wanted them NOW is the time to get them because they are being discontinued and replaced with the new radial version (the Comp H model will still be available).

Thanks for the heads up...just ordered a pair to replace some rear Hurst dirt trackers and to match the fronts.

They're not in a "sale" area. They're in their regular spot, just with WAY lower prices!

  7. Went into the site differently and see the price difference now. Wow!

It's odd that they aren't advertising it. I'm guessing it's because the inventory is pretty limited. I know when I called they only had one 7.00-17 left.

They had two of the 750-16`s and only one 500-16 :(

Went with the 500-16 Firstone ribbed dirt tracks. :D

I purchased a set of these 12 months ago, 550-16 fronts, and 600/650-18 rears for a roadster I've been building.

    Car is still under construction.

Only tonight, when I removed the rears and sat them back to back, did I notice over 1" difference in the rolling diameter:eek:

Yes the rims are the same size, tyre pressures have been checked and double checked, and the sizes on the tyres are the same.

Will be calling the Aussie dealer in the morning:mad:.

Just something to ba aware of I guess.
