I have a 54 Chevy 210....First question, what was the factory stock diameter exhaust that came on this car? Second, what is the largest diameter exhaust that I can put on the stock exhaust manifold? And last, where can I buy a piece of flared out pipe that would work with the stock manifold?

Pretty sure the stock exhaust pipe was 2", as for the flared end visit any muffler shop and have them do it they have the dies on the bender. My local place charges $2 to make up the pipe end.

Stock pipe size was 2", specs for 1954 fuel and exhaust systems here:http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/chevyresto/5436.htm

You could possibly go up one size to 2-1/4"" but I'm not sure.

I know on my Pontiac V8s the stock size pipe was 2" and you can easily use 2-1/4" on them, the larger flare size seals perfectly.
