Hot Rods Exhaust size?

Can somebody tell me what size exhaust tubing for a '56 Ford Victoria as well as a '46 Dodge truck?

2 inch sound kinda right

 

If there's something on the car you need to match, then you better measure what size it is. If you just need a guess, then 2 is as good a guess as any. Or maybe 1-3/4 if you want to get picky.

 

If the Vick is a y block, I’ve got manifolds I can.measure but I think they were 2”
The Y crossover pipe is listed as 2 inch online

a replacement OE style exhaust for the Dodge is listed at 1.75

 

Thanks Anthony. Princess Auto has a “surplus sale” on mufflers @ $14.00 CDN or about $10.00 USD. I’m sure they’re not the best quality though!
