Yes your eye's do not decive you, It's even a 4 door. This one will be a very simple build but will be kool in its own way. As you can see it's already bagged and has a decent frame under it also. To help with the kool factor it will be powered with an early 425 caddy that I will make him a custom 6 carb intake. The body will be left almost stock except for frenched head lights and the gas filler, trunk and hood will be shaved and thats it. Will even run the stock bumpers but with the bolt holes filled with a totally stock grill. He plans to run 52 merc hubcap with no skirts. I kind of like it already and if it comes out like i am thinking. I just might have to build myself one but powered with something a littte different like a 409
Ok I guess I am just getting old. I thought I would never like an unchopped merc let alone a 4 door but this one has bitten me. Listen..So far so good. it reminds me of a four door that Art Riporti did before the days of airbags. It was a maroon,nosed ,decked, frenched lit ground s****ing unchopped merc with 57 Caddys. What more do you need? 4 door mercs are the only cool 4 doors! ...most of the time
