Ok got some good news. We have finally started work back on the Gladiator 51 merc project and hope to have it roll out of here by the summers end. Here are some sneak pic's of it. We have streched this one a total of 8" and lengthed the wb 4". It gives it the apearence that its been sectioned but it is not. It is chopped fast back style 6" in the front and 9" in the rear with a 50 merc back window. We also lengthed the back quarter glass to make a longer side window opening pofile. It is also powered by a supercharged 4.6 ford dohc cobra motor. Will be updating as we progress. GB & Thanks, Rick Erickson of EXK EXTREME KUSTOMS www.ericksonskustoms.com
I'm starting to feel like a groupie when I post on your threads but you guys put out some******in rides. I really dig that first picture. The car looks extremly pissed off!
shooter54<SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbmenu_register("postmenu_4019021", true); </SCRIPT> I'LL DOUBLE dang YA ! Very nice ride ,lots of talent going on their , Can't wait to see it finished with some color on it. You are going to paint it right, What color are you thinking?
? Looks like you can lift the wheels right off the ground from the way they´re sitting on those dollies! Good theft deterrent! Mean looking car. And yeah - pissed off looking.
I sure do look forward to all of your post. I have a 51 Merc 2-dr resting at the side of my shop just waiting for it's turn to come inside.
Can I****ume the large open area on the quarters will be a removable "skirt" ? Keep pushin' that envelope. Too many are scared to do something really new to a Merc.
You agree with most who have seen it. One of our other customers will not even walk in front of it. He said its evil and very bad luck to cross it path. Ok he might be a little different than the norm but he is a good customer.
Yes they are removable steel fender / skirts with an S shaped scoop opening in the front. We are trying ot add alot of S shape body mods to this merc. I even did a reversed level S shaped scoops on the hood. GB & Thanks, Rick & Carol Erickson of EXK EXTREME KUSTOMS www.ericksonskustoms.com
