Just wondering if anyone has done this, a 50 dodge on a 99 explorer XLT frame, The dimensions of the frame are very close, 116 Dodge and 111 on the Explorer XLT. I would have like to keep it all original however, i pulled the dodge out from the edge of the field my uncle had parked it there 35 some years ago, (Running) the frame is wrotten, I have an old explorer with a complete 4.0 and drivetrain sitting around that i stripped down a few years ago to make one good explorer, was going to discard the old frame when a friend of mine suggested we try and put the dodge on it, now i am researching this option. THere are very few parts here in ontario, the body was sheltered, under a sheep canopy, but the moisture has done a number on the frame. ANy thoughts are appreciated
