  1. LOL! too bad they didn't build the rest of the car as solid as the door handles.

    I'd guess '45-'52 era 2 door?
With the details of the door and dash shown here fairly large, I'd guess those watching here will be able to ID it pretty quick.

  5. Yeah Keith, the pups are getting close to a year old now.

  6. Apache Junction trail is one scary ride.
We took what we thought would be a scenic drive and it was the trail through hell.:0

Wow! If that's the road to hell... My avatar has been over the Apache Trail a couple of times in tthe last couple of years and it's only 3" max height anywhere! When you get back to Phoenix, give me a yell and I'll take you up to Crown King!!!

I love this thread. Thanks for the continuing ride along.

But did I hear something about vintage enduros?

Now I'm downright jealous. In a real On Any Sunday, Steve McQueen way.

The Trail is cool as hell! But if all you drive is freeways it probably isn't for you.

  13. Sad to see cars with better bodies than what we see in Wisconsin tossed in a pile like that.

If you get a chance photograph the cars in Jerome... where most can be saved.

This thread is outstanding!!! I have lived in Cottonwood for 9 years, and recently moved back down to the Phoenix area. I have seen some of the spots in Jerome, Sedona and Cottonwood that have been posted here. My brother-in-law lives down in Rio Rico, and has showed me pictures of some of the things he has found. I believe the stuff he found was much newer, but almost always bullet ridden. But there is definitely some stuff in the Nogales area. I will try to find out where if you guys are interested in a different part of the state. Keep em coming guys!!!

I'd be in for a Benson trip. Maybe a HAMB and eggs type get together in Benson then migrate to the canyon. After we could coagulate at the VFW in Benson for sodys and coffie before scattering.

If you could plan it around a show in the fall I think that would work great, then maybe some of us HAMBers that dont live in the area would have a better reason to come out and meet some of you in the area and see some of the off the map sites. I know my wife and I would love that! Jim
