I recently got my 61 Tbird custom project car. The PO put a hood scoop on the hood to make room for a larger air cleaner and possibly a supercharger. I'm considering putting a 3 guage set in the space available under the scoop, which is about 3 inches. I'd like to have a tach, oil pressure and volts guage in there to complement the stock gauges. I'd also like to have them on a quick release wiring setup so I can disconnect them if needed Obviously, they need to be well lit for night driving. I'm not sure if I can get the gauges that I want, and not sure what brand makes gauges that are of sufficient quality to last. Anyone have a similar setup, pics or ideas to help out with this?? Any input is appreciated!
