Recently (within a month or 2) one of my rod magazines had a vendor that was offering a speedometer adaptor/reducer that threaded into the transmission before the speedo cable that would adjust for an innacurate speedometer reading without changing any of the internal gears currently in your trans... All you needed to do was tell them how far your current setup was off at a particular speed and they sent you the proper adapter to thread on the end of your cable... I tore out the page and "saved" it, now I can't find it... Not talking about a plastic gear that goes in your trans, but an actual adapter...anyone know the place I'm referring to?
This page has the testing info; other parts of same site have ratio converters. http://www.speedometershop.com/rep-pag.htm
