EZ Wiring Harness... Anyone used them?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by DrivenDead, May 17, 2009.

  1. wired my plymouth with the EZ kit. had a problem, called tech support, they told me what I did wrong, I went out and had it fixed in a couple of minutes. I would use them again and plan on it with my current project.

  2. I picked up the EZ 12 circuit off their ebay site for 135 don't get much cheaper or better than that!

yep. i wired my dodge with EZ wire kit. everything worked first time. was not that hard. i like the wires being labeled every 5 in. i would use them again without hesitation. it was also my first time wiring a rod, and the directions were easy for me to follow. for the money, i would go with the EZ kit. good luck

that is what I'm installing in my 47 ford. pretty straight forward. the instructions could be better but if you have even just a little auto wiring knowledge they are pretty easy. don't forget the heat dhrink

I have only done 2 wiring kits. The first one I used painless and it went great and easy for me to understand. The second one I used rebel, it went okay. I thought it was harder to understand and the instructions kinda ****ed I thought. Although I will use Rebel again because of the price. I think the painless kit is twice the price of Rebel. I had no experience wiring a car before these also.

I've got one in my truck. Installed it about 6 months ago, no problems yet.

I wire all my cars myself, but i am an electrician. So i have an almost endless supply of wire and connectors. Also the knowledge of how to draw out and wire things. If i was not me i would buy a pre made harness. Let someone else do all the hard work. I helped my buddy do his shoe box. It was a rebel harness?? either way it was fast and simple.

Rebel Harness seems to be a better price point. Wow... Coin toss... I think I might go with the Rebel. I'll let y'all know how it goes! Thanks!!!

The Rebel Wire kits have the wires labeled every 5 or 6 inches too...and about a year ago when I installed my kit the Rebel Wire guys had talked about redoing their instructions, but I have no idea if they did or not...the help he gave me over the phone was top notch though, so bonus points for that...
