   Is it safe to run a F-1 cross member and a Torque Tube? I am just thinking in my head that it wouldn't work.

   If trans mounts are the 2-biscuit type, you will need something to locate engine so it does not move fore& aft. '42-8 type mount or engine radius rods ala '32-41 Ford.
