Just picked up a nice set of f-1 (not 100) front brakes. All components in good shape. Does anyone know what the allowable run out or minimum drum thickness specs are? Thanks

  2. Are you looking to use the original drums? Not sure of allowable min thickness but early Bronco drums are a cheap replacement alternative to the F1's, FYI.

I have read the posts regarding using 80 bronco rears and I know van pelts sells a new drum as well. Would like to use what I have as long as they fall in line with allowable tolerances. Thanks.

  4. You might've answered your own question. Mac Van Pelt probably has the tolerances..

Ford truck drums usually go with a .120 maximum oversize, just going by what I've seen cast into them.
