kool i love those '57 lincolns..there is a blue one that sits in the front yard of a crack house in the next town, and i been wanting to see if they wanna sell it but the dogs chained up in the front yard kinda dont look to freindly..kool find and i like your ideas..personaly i'd stay away from supremes on a car like that..stick with whites and some killer hubcaps with big center bullets..i'd respray the car the stock colors,,but in a satin finish like ya want..that way ya dont have to mess with inners hahahe...have fun...craig

Who knows, with a little galvanized steel....:D

Cool ride man. Now I don't feel so bad. Your car looks nicer than the "Other" one you were trying to get.

So you really, actually got this one?

I love those Lincolns too. I personally would like to see Supremes on the car, skinny whitewalls, lowering. I'd leave all the chrome in place, paint the bottom emerald green and the top white. What a beautiful, retro-futuristic design. Where did you score this one?

You need to look for a '58 Lincoln steering wheel for it. Coolest steering wheel ever.

    Damn! That's a cool car!
I've been looking for a '57 something for a while now, 'cause that's the year I was born. You probably just got the last Lincoln that was still reasonably priced. Maybe I'll get a Cadillac or something.

If you can find one they are usually reasonably priced.
I had one back in the 80s that was pretty nice I paid $1400 for.
Drove the hell out of it!
Them puppies had power leather seats, windows, electric eye, search on the AM radio, etc.
Could even get AC as an option with vents in the roof!
Just had to take two parking spots wherever I went....

    Enjoy!

  25. Didn't I just see that one on the Bay? If so, I'll bet it is rusted out, blown motor, while it was described as mint rust free, runs sweet! Hope it goes okay!

Those make awesome rides. I have wanted one for a while too. I'll stick with my '64 suicide door for now however.

I know a guy who has a couple ragtops for sale up here, you should hook up with him and cut the top off of yours!!

wow, thats some negative shit... car is actually pretty clean man, and is sold through a REALLY cool local dealer, so no worries about shady shit like motor bad etc...

    Always loved 56 and 57 Premier/Capri bodies.... Would also love a Mark11 Continental$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Go with the wide whites, I think it's the wrong shape for an early 60's make over.
    Good Luck.
