This is O/T and random but...

Isn't Yucaipa famous for it's flies? Last time I was there, seemed like there were flies everywhere, a local said that it was common there...

True, the traffic can get pretty crazy, but I don't really mind just cruisin along. And the water rationing hasn't affected me. Earth quakes haven't been too bad... yet. And yeah... the high taxes ****! =] But I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I'd like to travel to every state in the U.S. and to most of the continents, but I think I'll probably live in So. Cal for the rest of my life.

Haha. Yeah, the flies used to be really bad back when there were chicken ranches everywhere, but now most of them are gone. If you eat outside in the Summer you just gotta wave them away every now and then. And I didn't say that I want to stay in Yucaipa LOL. I just want to stay in So. Cal. =]

Or a wedding at Mother Neff Park.
We flew down to Austin and then drove to Waco two years ago just in time to get in the middle of the gully washer mess then plus the tornado that went through the area.

Central Tx rod trots and rain storms seem to be a normal combination at least in my experience.

You know, if you guys had 2 hobbies, like wheeling (off-roading) and rods, then you would be happy in any kind of weather!

could be worse, you could be in South Georgia, last week some storm was heading towards albany and they were reporting 80 mile an hour straight line winds, tornados, severe thunderstorms, and THREE INCH HAIL. one of those storms we got here got 11 inches of rain in a couple of days, thats the ones that caused all the flooding.

Hollywood CA is where it's at. actually it's rained randomly in excess...but I was usually at work when that kind of insanity was happening.

Well you could move to Southern Oregon. If you don't like the weather it will change in no time. Two weekends ago it was pushing 70 degrees, this last Monday it snowed and this weekend it is suppose to top 80 (85 on Monday) with next thursday in the high 50's again. Gotta love the pacific nw.

Haha... yeah that's like in Moab, UT... I was there for a week and in one day it was sunny, then cloudy, then rain, then hail, and then sunny again. That was pretty cool.

I would rather be there warm and raining than sitting here in the middle of a spring snowstorm.

Well, the weather channel as of 1 hour ago is saying "hail, tornadoes, and flooding". Maybe these would be considered reasons for canceling?
