Hot Rods F1 and f100

    Whats the differnce between f1 and f100 1947 ford truck.

    No such thing as a 1947 F100. The F100 replaced the F1 in 1953.

    The F-1 is only a 48-52 year model. Prior to that time they where just trucks, I don't believe they had much of a designation other then capacity. The f100 and its like came about in 53 as Mr Mayo says.

    To my knowledge, nothing really interchanges between the 47 and older trucks and the F-1's other then the drive train.
