   In fitting my F1 axle under my 55 Ford G***er I see that the axle spring width is narrower that my car frame. Should I weld brackets on my frame or relocate my springs on the axle??? or both??

   You can't move the springs on the axle much or you'll lose your turning radius as the tires will hit the springs.
   I'd work on the frame mount locations.
