This my be a stupid question:

Where can I pick up an adapter for the steering column of an early F1 box so that I can use a newer 3 hole steering wheel? What part might I need

    Thanks!

I used this kit; but found that the fit was not very good on an F-1 shaft.

Had to turn down the slightly tapered area on the shaft just past the
splines and pressed the adapter on several times to "broach" the internal
splines until it fit on far enough.

Not real impressed with the adapter; but it appears to be the only game in town.

I cut the hub out of junk F-1 wheel and saved it for a starting point the next time I need an adapter.
