hello started my f1 highly confused project .1951 f1 not sure which way it will be built jet already have the chevy engine.oops!, ford nine rear, th700r trans and johnny cash parts out the door.am enjoying the other projects on h a m b .
Welcome Runtman, many excellent projects and idea's on the HAMB, not a fan of the engine combo you've got...some cars yes but the f1 would look sweet with a flathead V8, think of it as a challenge.
Welcome runtman a few pix of my chopped and lowered 52 ford f1 with chevy 350 engine. Also went with camaro front clip, 350 ******, and 10 bolt rear end I personally have no complaints with the engine combo but hey to each his own. good luck with the build.
WELCOME, you are doing fine except for the trans( unless you realy need it) I have a 50 f1 that I had in high school, had the flatty in it that we added all the speed goodies to. Eventualy lost a wrist pin clip------ so I picked up a 67 302 z28 engine and a muncie 4 speed__________ LOTS MORE FUN! good luck with your project. Gary
Welcome Runtman, great project, here's a pic of my 52 F3 Flathead V8, T5 5 speed, power steering (Toyota box), 4 wheel disc power brakes (hydroboost), dropped OEM front axle, 9" posi rear-end, 4 link coilovers, 16" rims and white wall tires. The truck has the 50's look, running boards 5" off the ground with a great ride...... there are more pic's in my albums for ideas
