Just found a guy with a complete F1 steering column, steering box and pedals. Should all this parts be usable on the 34' Tudor ? The car will be powered by a 368 y-block and a toploader tranny. Thanks Diego
It is kind of hard to answer with what info you give. The steering column and box is a good match usually, depends on the location of the motor mounts and exhaust manifold or header too. The pedal assembly is a question mark too. Everything has to do with clearance and mounting and the 34 might be better off with another setup but you probably can make it work. Hard to say for sure without knowing more and seeing more. The 48-52 F1 through F3 columns are very desireable and the cost is up there but they are worth it, in my opinion.
Hey 31Coupe, Which setup do you think would be better for the 34' ? Wonder why F1-F3 columns are so desirable also. Thanks Diego
The F1-F3 boxes are more modern than the Original 34. And they used them back in the old days, since they where cheap and plentiful at the junkyards. Maybe you should take a look at the crossteering type that came in 35, and now uses Vega stering boxes.
