I installed a 1953ish F1 steering in my 1932. My problem is I have the “ball” type connection on my steering arm and a ball joint at the front hub. Does someone make a threaded connection for the “ball style” joint? So essentially I need a typical tie rod joint on one end and a ball style on the other.

  2. Contact Randy Gross, he would know if anyone. He makes a bolt in conversion of the truck steering for use on a Model A. If you want to check him out he is on the Model A forum on fordbarn.com.

Huh? You have a ball at each end? Then just shorten a regular 32 tie rod.

Stock 32 ball studs have a threaded end at the taper for a nut.
