Hi Does anyone have a picture of the front wheel cylinder from the outside with the hose installed. I have a feeling that they sold me rear cylinders as the hose inlet points into the spindles. Thanks in advance Phil
If that's the drivers side, I think you have the passenger side backing plate on there. Here's my drivers side
Thanks for the picture. The backing plate is just set on the spindle I was trying all the combinations of plates and cylinders to see if I could get what I have to work. After looking at yours and the pictures from napa I'm sure they sold me the wrong cylinders, probably rear ones. Phil
Fronts should have a 1-1/16 bore and rears should have a 1 inch bore. Vhttps://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog...1487459,brake+&+wheel+hub,wheel+cylinder,1952
A rear cylinder would have a seat for the tubing flare. Front would be machined with a gasket surface & no seat for the flare.
