F100 I-beams as trailing arms?

    I bought a 40 front axle from a guy the other day, he asked I wanted a pair of I-beams. He told me the car he had recently bought had them as trailing arms... Anybody ever heard of this? He showed me the diff housing, they had welded c brackets around the axle tubes to bolt through the king pin end of each I beam.

    Yes It's been done on here before. Cut off the axle mounting part and replace it.

    IMHO too short. To be of benefit they need to be longer.
