This is probably the nicest unibody tailgate I have come across. I got this with the truck I completed two years ago, right after I finished making a few Mercury tailgates. I had a few of these bottom pieces made up for the tailgate hinges to sit in. The metal shop couldn't wrap a complete circle, so I had to finish them the hard way. There is a complete tutorial on the Canadian Rodder website that shows precisely how I made these pieces and ended up with the new Merc tailgate on my 62 unibody. These are left over pieces that I want to try to recoup some of the ridiculous time and money I spent chasing this. My pain your gain perhaps. Only thing is, this could be subject to an import duty that you would have to pay if you live in the U.S. Your customs agents would have you pay the fee once it is imported to the U.S. , whatever they decide that might be. I guess I should have gotten my butt in gear a little sooner to try to sell these. I have these Mercury pieces. I'm hoping someone else will want them. Thanks for looking.
