Pulled the t98 4 speed out of my unibody because it wont shift. If you grab the stick it feels like neutral but is stuck in gear. I took the shifter out and pulled the bolts on the inspection plate but the plate wont pull off. It feels like a fork is hung up. Any ideas?
The end of the stick might have jumped out of the slots in the shift rail and the trans could be in gear. Probably need to pull the stick out and move the rails to neutral to get the cover off.
