Yes and the one before it is calendar worthy. Agree that the perfectly sleek gorgeous look puts it up there with the Valencia Chevy (and the purists can gloat over the relative lack of bondo). Just perfect.
Fabian's use of the taillights is so right, it makes the original Buick fenders look like an ill-conceived custom idea.
Fabian has been a friend for many years We met him at LARS while he flamed up a BBQ for some hot dogs. A little too much lighter fluid and the flames were higher than his almost burning easy up This car is amazing but we were lucky enough to see many of his (many changing) other builds I once asked him about his amazing body work and he kind of brushed it off " I rather be know for my paint work, nobody remember the body man but everyone remembers the painter'. Congrats Fabian, well deserving after all theses years!
All right! More Fabian! The vision, followed by the skills to bring it to life, makes this Chevy look cohesive, flowing and a complete design, something lacking in a lot of early customs. This one draws you toward it with one mod leading to the next, leading to the next, all followed with a WOW!
I was lucky enough to see Fabian's ride on the salt in 2012. One of my favorite flavors is Root-Beer. So is the color he chose. We had rain on the salt Friday afternoon, Fabian dove it on the salt anyway : ) Note the salt had splashed on the hood. This ride is just soooo right......
