I thought I'd put this out again and see if it registered in any ones memory.
I'm in the middle of restoring this 65 Fairlane that was one of 2 Fairlanes that year the were built in 65 for drag development.
It was a hipo 289 C4 automatic DS/A car that was originally delivered to Les Ritchey in California. It was later campaigned by Mel Burns Ford in Long Beach. In the early 70s in was used by the Kendig carburetor company for development of the Kendig carb which would later become the Predator carb.
If anyone remembers seeing it or any details about it whatsoever please let me know.
    Thanks

The car was driven for a time by Ron Root who was an LA cop and later worked for NHRA. Does anyone know of him or if he is still living? I belive he also ran an early 60's Dodge Dart and later a 69 factory sponsored Javelin.

    Thanks
