How's it going guys and gals. I'm wondering if anyone has a stock height '51 Belair, and if they'd be willing to take a few measurements for me? I was going to pull my springs and cut a coil off today but I figured I had better find out exactly how low it already is. I was also going to add 3" blocks to the rear but my frame to axle clearance is only 4.5" to where the bump stop was (notice I said was, it's gone). Here are the measurements I took today. Any help is greatly appreciated...
    - front bumper bottom to ground (directly in the center) - 14"
    - rear bumper bottom to ground (directly in the center) - 10"
    - front wheel hub to bottom of fender - 14.5"
    - rear wheel hub to bottom of quarter - 8.25"
    - rocker bottom to ground (just about in the middle) - 8.75"
    - rear axle to frame (no bumpstop) - 4.5"
    Thanks in advance

might want to put some type of bump stop back in - aftermarket polyurethane ones are easily available

I'm going to as soon as I figure out my drop and all. I talked to gambino kustoms about their drop kit with the posies springs, notch and Fatman uprights. I'm at least doing his notch. I just need to figure out what was already done to the springs. I'd hate to get posies 3" springs and have them raise me up. I've been driving it every day like a normal car and I haven't hit the axles or pumpkin yet so it should be alright till I get things sorted.
