fairlane 500 wheel question....

    i was just wondering if you could lower a 63 fairlane with the original tiers, with enough room to turn without hitting the side of the fender- i just herd somewhere that they'd be too big and woulden't fit.. any help apreciated..

    with just 14 inch tires you should be able to lower it without rubbing while turning, do it the right way and cut some of the coil off dont heat them with a torch.

    ya, i was planin on cuttin.. i know better than to torch those things..

    on my 64, i can drive just fine with it lowered all the way on the bags with my stock 14" wheels, no problems with normal turns on the road. so i'd say you probably wouldn't have any problems with cutting a few coils.
