    Hey folks,

I have a 1963 fairlane and finding bench seats is tough. I want to cast a wider net. Does anyone know of other car models that may have compatibility?

US Falcon or Aussie Falcon as the 66 - 67 US Falcon differs from the Aussie one.

US Falcon! same as the Aussie XR
Aussie XR XT XW and XY fit straight in........ I've personally bolted an XR bench into a 4 door 63 Compact
The 66-67 US model is available in 2 door with a split bench seat.

    Here's the US 66 model

Here's the Aussie 67 XR Falcon .4 door only so they don't have a split bench, so not what @Raymond James wants [even though both bolt in]

That's interesting - so the floor pans must be the same.

The Aussie Falcons were all USA derived [one year behind] built on the same platform

I know of a USA 2 door 66 Falcon that was converted to RHD by doing a front "cut'n'shut" with an XR front.

The XA was the 1st true Aussie design but even then, the platform is similar to 71-73 Mustang [this continued up until the XF Falcon]
I had a 71 Mustang that we used some Falcon suspension components in it [This is also common for RHD conversions]

There are traps to watch out for [this requires knowledge] eg: rear leaf springs on the later Falcon are longer than the Mustang [you don't notice this when they are hanging, but will bind shackles]
