Don't have an econoline axle butIve got a '53-'56 F100 axle hanging around the ranch here. Probably way too wide though.

Actualy Rick, if you are serious about an Econoline axle & springs and have a hard time finding one over there, give me a call. I know of a wrecking yard up north of here that has a couple in and I can probably get one pretty cheap.

  4. heres an update. got the car all sorted out a couple weeks ago. i had the chance to get under a 65 falcon v8 car and look at some things. my centerlink was way different. the 65 centerlink had the inner tie rods further out than my centerlink did. i had this steering on the car for the past 15 years with no problems, but i guess it was cause all the steering linkage was practically straight across cause it was so low. i put a new 65 falcon v8 centerlink on with matching inner tie rods, also bent the steering arms down about 1.5 inches. worked out really good, car handles great now. for 3 inches of travel it only toes in about .180! i think my original center link was from a 67 up mustang, at least thats what it looks like from the pictures i've seen.
